Shipping Policy

At Émilie Montréal, we aim to process and deliver your order as quickly, safely, and reliably as possible. Please review the details of our shipping process below.

1. Shipping Origin & Regions We currently ship exclusively to customers in Canada. All orders are fulfilled and shipped directly from our international partner warehouses in Asia. Delivery times reflect international shipping and may vary slightly depending on carrier processing and seasonal demand.

2. Processing Time

  • Orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment is received.

  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

  • Processing time does not include delivery time. If we experience an unexpected delay, we will notify you by email.

3. Shipping & Delivery Time Once your order has been processed and handed over to the carrier, the total estimated delivery time is approximately 9–15 business days.

This estimate includes:

  • 1–3 business days processing time

  • 8–12 business days transit time

Please note: Delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by customs inspections, severe weather conditions, peak seasonal demand (e.g., holidays), or other events outside our control. However, we are fully committed to getting your order to you as quickly as possible.

4. Shipping Costs Shipping is 100% free on all orders to Canada. There is no minimum order value required.

5. Customs, Import Taxes & Duties All orders shipped to Canada are sent Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) / Delivered at Place (DAP). This means:

  • Any applicable customs duties, import taxes, value-added taxes (GST/HST/QST), or carrier clearance fees levied by Canadian authorities are not included in the purchase price.

  • These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer and must be paid by the recipient upon delivery or collection.

  • We have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. If a package is refused by the customer due to customs charges, the customer remains responsible for all original and return shipping fees.

6. Order Tracking Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. Please note: Tracking may take 24–48 hours to update after the carrier receives your parcel. Some international carriers may show delayed tracking updates while the package is in transit overseas.

7. Address Accuracy & Delivery Issues Please ensure your shipping address is complete and correct at checkout.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by incomplete or incorrect addresses, undeliverable packages due to address errors, or re-shipping costs for orders returned to us for these reasons.

  • If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address or failure to collect, additional shipping fees may apply to resend the order.

  • If a package is lost, damaged, or significantly delayed during transit, please contact us immediately. We will investigate the issue with the carrier and provide an appropriate resolution.

8. Secure Payment Methods For your security and convenience, all payments are securely processed through Shopify Payments using industry-standard SSL encryption. We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, and UnionPay.

  • Accelerated Digital Wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay.
